Seems that I haven't blogged in a while. There's a good reason why. First off I have been in some physical discomfort, in other words physical pain. Plus, it's hard for me to type like I used to. I just had Neck surgery and still recovering from my back surgery from the late fall of last year.
Seems that I keep hearing that God has a Great plan for my life. Well, I am really wondering what that plan is and will GOD reveal it to me before I die? I am really getting tired of hearing the same Ol' Same Ol' Line... "GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE AND IT"S AWESOME." "Oh Really?" If so how come someone else knows that God has a great plan for my life and I don't? I am getting tired of hearing that and am beginning to bark back and say to the world, "Well if GOD has a great plan then why doesn't HE want to tell me or share it with me?"
Sorry folks not all of Christianity is a bowl of gorgeous delicious cherries of FUN in the sun or SON." Christianity is a day to day belief and level of faith.
You have to trust that today God is going to help you make it through the day. It may be a miracle that you have prayed about for years, or it may be another pain in the butt of a problem that keeps getting worse and festering till one day you can't take it any more and you just say to yourself that you quit. Yes YOU have thought that and so have I. I told my husband the other day that I am not a great Christian and NO I don't believe that God will bless all HIS believers all the time. In fact, I truly believe that God does have favorites each and every day and today HE may NOT be favoring YOU nor me. In fact HE may just sit back and watch you get smacked right upside the head with a huge battle of CRAP....
Well, Jesus if you have a miracle for me and a Great plan for my life and the life of all believers out there, would you be willing to share it with US? Please? I'm getting older and not feeling as strong as I used to. In fact, I feel like crap today and I sure wish to GOD that either YOU would give me a heads up or else just pull the plug and let me go home to Heaven so I can be a part of a great party that most of my family is enjoying without me!!!!
I love the scripture that says, "I believe Lord, HELP ME WITH MY UNBELIEF." Got any clues as to where that is in the bible? If so, why not share it with the rest of us poor souls that are believing for at least a tiny morsel of a miracle for our lives!!!!

A radio venture soon.
Eventually I want to put together a Christian radio show on the Internet. But I believe you need to have two people doing that. My Internet show that I am working on now is for Baby boomers and having fun and retiring and planning your retirement. There isn't any sort of Christian theme. I have a brilliant business partner for this Your Next radio show, but eventually I will put together a Christian radio show. That is my ultimate goal.
God Bless you all for reviewing my blog and DO leave your comments. Let's all pray for one another on a regular basis for the Lord to bless all we put our hands to do in Jesus name.
Thank you LORD for all those that read this blog that you will bless them ABUNDANTLY in Jesus name. AMEN!!! Lord bless me for the time and effort I Put in this blog and to be able to bless the readers in Jesus name....

The Lord's blessing....
For a while now my husband and I have been in prayer about an issue in our lives. We haven't said anything to anyone about it, but just prayed about it most nights, and individually during the day.
Well just this week we finally heard from the Lord, and recieved the answer we have been waiting for.
Yes Miracles do happen. I am not at liberty to say what it is that we have been praying about. In due time I'll sahre that with you.
What I am saying to you is that if your heart is in the right place and you pray about an issue that is a need more than a want, you might be really surprised how the Lord will bless you.
For us it was a need and a most wanted need.
Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers and for continually answering our prayers. We are so blessed Jesus that you LOVE US and want to bless us. THANK YOU JESUS...

I do realize something...
When you are at your weakest and most tired, you seem to forget to read the scriptures...
My husband and I spent several days at the hospital supporting his mother. We both had gone without sleep and seemed so weak.
There was one moment that my husband took me by the hand and we walked to the little chapel at the hospital to pray for his mom. We stood there embraced and both with such a peace that we knew she was going to go to heaven.
But for a few days we have been without our scripture reading. I had to take my husband to Urgent care one day and the next to the doctors for he was in severe pain. That took up time also for us. Not to mention the family gathering together each day to prepare for the memorial service.
How do you fit in time to read the bible when you are the most tired and worn out? I know that Jesus looks at our hearts, and realizes that there are times that our bodies are so weak.
Lord Jesus forgive me for not giving time to YOU to read. Instead we have sat watching the TV just to relax, but maybe some of that time should have been spent reading the word.
Jesus you are with us through all these times and someday we'll be home with you. I can't wait.
I was a bit jealous that my mother in law went to heaven, as I would've loved to been in her place. Heaven is the ultimate place to be. I can't wait to get there. I miss my family so much. I want to see them face to face and hug them. But most of all, I WANT TO SEE YOU FACE TO FACE... YOU will dry away every tear and love me with all the LOVE you have, which is far more than I could ever imagine...
Jesus I love you so much. Thank you for LOVING ME....

The loss of a loved one...
On Monday April 2nd we lost a wonderful woman. She was our mentor, mother, mother in law and grandmother. She slipped away quietly and is in heaven with a heavenly host of Angels and loved ones.
We were selfish with our tears in not wanting her to leave. However the severe pain she suffered for a few days made us realize that it was best for her to go. She loved us all and she supported us and cared for us dearly. We will miss her so much.
In loving Memory of Carol Eads....
We loved you so much Mom. How we will miss you....

Psalm 91....
There is ONE thing that I did yesterday and it made a huge difference in my life and I hope to become disciplined enough to continue this daily.
Please do yourself a favor and read out loud everyday Psalm 91 and PUT yourself in that psalm. Instead of the word you, you say me or I. I promise you there will be an anointing and the Lord will hear your words as you pray back to HIM, HIS WORDS....
I have had two friends of mine do this yesterday and they were so blessed.
God Bless you this day and forever in Jesus name....

I am BORROWING this from a dear pastor friend of ours.
This is SO true. WE need a balanced life....
For me however, I need less play and more work!!!

One Good Thing and Then

“…and let endurance
have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in
nothing.” James 1.4

Everyone, especially grown-ups, needs to play. We need time away from
work, even when we love our work. Play is part of the process which repairs us
and replenishes our spirit. The more complicated our life and our work, the more
we need the release of simple play. We need to ski, fish, garden, play softball
or chess, any hobby that takes us mentally and physically away from our
work.
The
writer of Ecclesiastes was on target when he wrote: “… a time to laugh… and a
time to dance.”
The
best life is lived in balance. Not the precarious balance of life on a
teeter-totter, but the balance of stacking one good thing upon another and upon
another. In that process, we build a lifestyle that keeps us healthy, energized
and productive. The building blocks are work, rest and recreation. And remember,
rest and recreation are not optional. Thank God!
Prayer: Lord, help me
keep my life in balance.

Studio Ten in Naperville
I cut and paste what I thought was a video for my dear friend Rosalyn Morris. She owns and operates the most awesome salon in Naperville. She works only with products that have NO harsh chemicals. John Amico products. I have used them now for the past two years and my hair looks and feels awesome. I was strictly an Aveda fan, till I was introduced to John Amico. There is NO comparison, except ONE thing I miss from Aveda is their scents, but the chemicals were all there in Aveda compared to John's products. Anyway, Ros is unbelievable at cutting and styling your hair. She knows exactly what you need for your age and your life style. She will sit with you and go through a consultation every time you have an appointment with her.
She is located in Downtown Naperville at the Jefferson hill mall. It's not a mall, but a set of little offices and businesses. Her phone number is 630-854-7452. Please don't forget to tell her that you read about her on my blog and that I referred you. My name is Deni short for Denise. So do call her and go soon to get a new look. Her prices are quite reasonable and if you have a business you might be able to barter with her. She is the queen of bartering.
She is a full salon, so you can also come and get a pedicure and manicure. She really knows color too. I love my hair. She blended in my gray, which I like with incredible highlights and lowlights. My husband just can't get over how awesome I look because of Rosalyn. Her daughter is every bit as gifted in hair, considering Ros has trained her for years. You won't go wrong with her salon.
Do give her a call, and don't forget to mention that you heard about her reading my blog.
God does miracles and sometimes you just need to find someone that can help you with a new look to make you feel better about yourself.
